HOSPITALITY & BEAUTIFICATION
During Fiscal Year 2001, the City of Conway created this new Department charged with beautification and maintenance activities for all City properties.
This Department, consisting of a Director and eighteen employees, performs landscape maintenance at historic City Hall, City Hall Annex, The Planning and Building Department, the Public Safety Building, and the following Parks and special use facilities: Crabtree Greenway, Kingston Park, Kiwanis Track, Riverfront Park, River Walk, the Robert Mills Garden, and Garden Walk.
This Department also maintains public grounds at many intersections, downtown sidewalks, and other City-owned "open-space" lots as well as maintains Rose Hill and Lakeside Cemeteries.
